Now there will be 2 versions for this Onlive Desktop to start one is free with which you get 2GB of online Storage and you get those 3 Key Productivity Apps of Microsoft Office to use but you cannot add other programs on your Onlive Desktop and they don’t guarantee that you will be able to get into the system to use Word, Excel and Power-Point, every time that you want to use the programs, if its crowded and there are many users then your chances to connect to Onlive Desktop cloud server are less in other words in the free version you are not guaranteed to be able to get access.

It becomes kind of a difficult to write a one document or to create a power point presentation or something else, so I recommend that if you use Onlive Desktop on your iPad you better get Bluetooth keyboards and there are many others available for iPads. Also with other productivity apps where you are doing long documents on an iPad, the virtual keyboard that you have to use in this case which is a virtual windows keyboard and not the one on the iPad itself.
One thing that it’s a cloud based app it won’t work at all if you don’t have internet connectivity as its true on many airplane flights won’t work at all and if you have a slow connection under 1MB per second which is quiet possible in hotels which happens if the hotel’s Wi-Fi is overloaded you’ll find that it won’t let you in either. In my tests it worked with almost no late, it felt as if I am running regular windows or a regular office for windows on my iPad, but it does have some downsides.
